4th LDT-ADRIA-CHALLENGE 2008 takes place - Ex-Texer repeatedly completed Co-Skipper-Training in Croatia
In a wonderful autumn weather and partly fresh wind former Texer completed a preparation-training for the 4th LDT-ADRIA-Challenge 2008 on the southern Adria.
For the second time this Co-Skipper-Training took place in Dalmatia.
Under the direction of Helmut Raaf, the nautic director of the LDT-Adria-Challenge, Heiner Soltendieck, Patrick Tenhaeff, Christian Felzmann, Timo Leinweber and Robert Geiger started with a big 50-Yacht near Split , in order to complete a sailing-technical training and thereby guaranteeing the high standards of the LDT towards the security relevant activity of this special event of the outfit industry.
After being guaranted support in form of a boat sponsoring (repeatedly) through the sponsors Gabor, Sioux, Ricosta, Goretex, Sabu, Ecco, Clarks , Marc, Rieker as well as GDS/GLS, the conceptional planning moves further on. Chief skipper Helmut Raaf , shoe retailer and LDT-lecturer from Nagold recieved consent from his approved skippers, as well as the responsability for the ship’s command. It will be sailed with the Bavaria –Yacht from the Ecker-fleet, Trogir, all with a size of 44 to 50 feet.
Responsability on these ships will be taken by the Ex-Texer, participants of the Co-Skipper-Training, who will function as the skipper’s right hand.
LDT-director Manfred Mroz and lecturer Einar Leichsenring answer for the pedagogic concept.
Bays and harbours of the most beautiful dalmatian Isles Hvar, Brac, Vis and Scedro will visited.
The 4th LDT-Adria-Challenge will start on 26.April 2008 in Trogir, the return will happen on Saturday 3.May 2008.
