Lenzing: Eco Responsibility Award

For the second time an expert jury conferred the Eco Responsibility Award of the international sports goods fair, ispo on February 7 – 10, 2010, in Munich/Germany. It focused not only on ecological product aspects but also on the sustainability of manufacturers' overall concepts. The cellulosic fiber producer Lenzing AG, Lenzing/Austria received the award in the category Fabrics & Fibers.
The sustainability assessment uses the ESPA (EcoOne Sustainability Parameter) key criteria as developed by Munich Technical University in collaboration with internationally recognized experts. These are used to analyze logistics, production, compatibility, use, corporate culture and corporate social responsibity.
